It seems that not long ago, something of what appears to be a leak surfaced on the Blizzard forums to do with the next upcoming Archives event.
Looking at the image above, we instantly know that this is Talon-based. The top two icons are already icons in-game that represent two Talon skins that are already available; Sombra and Doomfist. The bottom two; we know that the one on the right is 100% a Talon-Baptiste skin [All aboard the hype train!] – this is a skin that has been seen already briefly in Baptiste’s origin story. The one on the left, well, it can only be Moira.

Here you can see the Talon skins that exist for Sombra and Doomfist. A Talon skin also exists for Widowmaker too, and they all keep with the white and black colour scheme, an aesthetic that I really like to be honest – plus, actual lore skins are the best skins! – Change my mind?

Keeps with the white and black colour scheme; also in the potential leak, we can see the visor on the left eye, which is definitely Baptiste, and while it may not be present in the image above, who cares? It would be awful if he had to wear that crap helmet – plus he doesn’t wear the helmet in the second image of the skin either. We can also see that the image has the short dreadlocks that we can see here.
So what can we expect Moira’s Talon skin to look like? We’ll, we know it will have to keep the iconic white and black colour scheme, and it will have to be lore-friendly, perhaps even something we’ve seen before? I believe so, and I believe it will be the following.
The Mission Itself?
I’ve read one theory, which I think sounds very credible. Some have speculated that the mission will revolve around Talon in Paris infiltrating and extracting,
Amélie Lacroix [Widowmaker], after she has killed her husband, Gérard Lacroix, seeing as he is alive during the events of the previous Archives mission – Retribution.

When Can We Expect To Play The Event?
- The first Archives Event – “Uprising” was playable from April 11th – May 2nd 2017 [While also being re-playable during, “Retribution”.
- “Retribution” was playable from April 10th – April 30th 2018 and is likely to be playable again during the next Archive event.
- Given Blizzard event dates are usually always very similar, we can expect to play the next event around April 10th 2019 – Less than a month away! Hype!
Whether this leak has been proven to be fake or not yet, I really, really hope that it is legit. I’m a huge fan of the Archive events; they are easily the best events that come to the game, and a badass Talon-based mission would be incredible!
